We often think first of the mechanics and technicians that work on the aircraft or engines, but what about all the work that goes into preparing parts for serviceable condition? This course explores various processes used to ensure safe and airworthy aircraft. Learners will look at various forms of manufacturing, robotics, welding, heat treatment, balance, machining, plating/thermal spray, painting, waterjet, cleaning, non-destructive testing/inspection, and more! This course will give insight into the processes for those wanting to understand a little bit more or help those looking for inspiration for their career path.
